Sista Strut 2012 : Strutting To Cure Cancer

KTVI FOX2 News / KPLR TV are proud to be one of the sponsors of Sista Strut 2012 .

The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Studies show that African American women are more likely to get breast cancer at a younger age and have a death rate from breast cancer twice that of Caucasian women of the same age. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their family and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure.

St. Louis Priest Arrested On Sexual Abuse Charges

A St. Louis priest was arrested on sexual abuse charges.

The suspect is 29-year-old Father Xiuhui “Joseph” Jiang of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis located at 4431 Lindell Boulevard.

Police say the victim and her family met Jiang through their church and became close with him over the past year. According to the victim’s parents, Jiang was from China and had no family in Missouri. The victim and her family had Jiang over to their residence for dinner several times in the past year. Their residence is located in Old Monroe, Missouri. On occasion, Jiang would stay the night at the family’s residence because of his far drive home to St. Louis. Over time, Jiang became fond of the 16-year-old girl.

The investigation revealed Jiang had inappropriate contact with the victim on three occasions between May of 2012 and June of 2012.
