ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KTVI) – Wednesday, September 5th, St. Louis Children’s Hospital pediatric cancer researcher Dr. Joshua Rubin will be presented with a $250,000 check from the Hyundai Hope On Wheels and St. Louis area Hyundai dealers for his research on gender affect tumor biology and treatment.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is one of 41 institutions to receive grants from 2013 Hyundai Hope On Wheels Grants. This year Hope On Wheels will award $10.25 million in grants in honor of September being National Childhood Cancer Awareness month.

In 15 years of granting awards, St. Louis Children’s Hospital has received over $900,000 in grants.

The ceremony is take place at 9:30 a.m.
