St. Louis Children’s Hospital Recieves $75,000 Grant | News

CENTRAL WEST END, MO (KTVI) – On Tuesday, St. Louis Children’s Hospital got a generous donation for its efforts in pediatric cancer research.   Hyundai Hope on Wheels, a non-profit group, gave the hospital foundation a $75,000 grant.

Dr. Jeffrey Bednarski received the money to fund his efforts to understand the cellular mechanisms that prevent leukemia.  The check was part of a hand print ceremony where St. Louis area children affected by cancer put their hand prints on a Hyundai Tucson.  This year, Hope on Wheels has donated more than 3 million dollars in grants.
