Sidewinder Air Force Band Ending Tour In St. Louis | News
(KTVI) – The St. Louis-based Air National Guard band Sidewinder will wrap up its concert tour in St. Louis this week.
The band won international acclaim last year when a video of them performing Adelle’s “Rolling In The Deep” went viral on the internet. They played the White House last month.
The group is part of the 571st Air Force Band headquartered at Lambert Airport. They are one of six regional Air Force bands being decommissioned due to manpower reductions within the Air Force.
The band will perform Monday night at the Maryland Heights Community Center, Tuesday at Cardinal Glennon, and their final performance will be Wednesday night at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
