5th Annual Taste Of Maplewood To Held Saturday

MAPLEWOOD, MO. (KTVI) – The 5th annual taste of Maplewood will be held this Saturday, May 18th from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm. The event has grown over the past 5 years and will feature this year for the first time, a “Best of the Taste of Maplewood”, that will offer local vendors to claim bragging rights to the best food and during in Maplewood.

The festival will feature music from area bands and food from local restaurant in Maplewood.

New Fall Menu For The Eclipse Restaurant

John Stuhlman, the chef at the Eclipse Restaurant came on the 9 A.M. show to show off some of their fall menu. The Eclipse is located in the Moonrise Hotel, the brain child of Joe Edwards, owner of several businesses in the Delmar Loop.

Popular Food Truck Must Change Name

A St. Louis food truck known for its toasted ravioli and rice balls must change its name. "Mangia Mobile" was ordered to change its name after the owner of the restaurant; "Mangia Italiano" filed a lawsuit. The U.S. District Court in St. Louis issued a preliminary injunction that "mobile" stop using the name. The owners are now looking for a new name and are asking for suggestions from the public.
