Jammin' At The Zoo Lineup

The Saint Louis Zoo’s Young Zoo Friends invite you to celebrate 100 years of the Saint Louis Zoo at their summer 21-and-up event, Jammin’ at the Zoo. On Wednesdays, July 28 and August 25, from 6 to 10 p.m., enjoy great live music while sipping your way through 200 different wines from more than 50 wineries.

The Tasting Package includes a wine tasting, available between 6 and 8 p.m., while supplies last. Wine by the glass and bottle, beer, soda and frozen specialty drinks will be available for purchase. No outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted at the event.

On July 28, enjoy live entertainment by Jake's Leg, Soul Alliance featuring CoCo Soul, Tiny Cows, DJ Needles, and Charles Glenn.

On August 25, Dawn Weber, DJ Andrew Mullins, Fat Pocket, Hudson & the HooDoo Cats, Kim Massie will perform.

Delmar Loop Boutiques Sponsor Scholarship Fund

Brick by Brick was founded in 2009 by Morehouse College student and Greater St. Louis resident, Kieran Blanks. The organization plans to start a new conversation in the African American community, challenging people to live better by evaluating and reconstructing their social and material conditions.The Brick by Brick Scholarship is helping solve Greater St. Louis’ educational and financial disparities by hosting Ethereal Runway, a fashion show fundraiser to raise money for the scholarship.

This event could be an opportunity for individuals interested in the fashion industry and scholarship to volunteer and learn new skills, expand their network, and engage a new and different atmosphere.

A few of the Delmar Loop’s boutiques have already agreed to sponsor this event including: TAG: Timeless Authentic Garments, Morrell’s, and Club Denim.
